Jose Ortega School is a public school just over 1 mile from the church. The school has over 230 students. While there are many kids from under-resourced families at the school the school itself is a place of creativity and learning. This last year Jose Ortega had one of the highest academic improvement results of any public school in San Francisco.

For over 5 years Lakeside has been involved at Jose Ortega. As our mission to a risk children increases, we are dramatically deepening our involvement at Jose Ortega. We hope you will join our efforts. Please call the front office for more details.
