Christian Education is an important component of the ministry of Lakeside Presbyterian Church.
Sunday School
Stepping Stones -- children from age three through youth in high school -- meet weekly to study and engage the with the Word of God. Worship begins each session, as we all gather in the Chapel for a time to praise God and encounter the biblical and liturgical traditions of the church.
Infants and toddlers are cared for in the Nursery, where age-appropriate stories, songs, and games introduce them to the church.
Children ages three and four, and youth in grades 8-12 meet in their own classes; children in kindergarten through grade 7 and their parents make up an interactive community where all learn together.
Adult Education
Opportunities for adults include Sunday morning classes the usually feature:
- Ongoing Bible Study
- Current Event / Topic class
Additional small group and faith development classes are formed from time to time and meet at various times throughout the week. Please contact the church office or Pastor Kim Nelson for more information or to express desire to start (or participate in) a small group.
